Little girl Lera is gentle, affectionate, and very loving the sea. Chatterbox and very independent Lera herself chose the places where she wanted to be photographed, and I couldn't argue with her, because in every place she chose, there was her secret magical world. And the rule of any child photographer is not to violate the child's space and let him play and immerse himself in his world.
And if the child allows you to play with him too, be grateful for that. It's not often that you see real miracles.
It was somehow very easy to photograph Lera right away. We immediately found a common language, although before filming I had to answer a huge number of questions, show all my equipment, make an honest promise to go with Lera to the amazing magical jungle, and not be afraid of the huge butterflies that live in this jungle.
I did everything, took the oath of a real scout and we went to take pictures. How many interesting things I learned. How amazingly children's fantasy works, the main thing is to get into the flow with the child and you will really begin to see everything amazing and incomprehensible, you notice so many details, the smallest, and therefore even more significant.
Allow yourself to be at the baby level. Believe me, you will never lose anything, but you will gain very, very much.
When it comes to child or family photography, often friends, acquaintances, even clients either ask or say: "Oh, you probably have a lot of family photos!?" In fact, yes and no at the same time. Yes, because really there are enough photos. No, because I don't often pick up a camera at home and shoot an artistic photo, although later I often regret it because of the missed moments. But I try to improve as much as possible.
For example, today, I just grabbed the camera and started photographing, because I just didn't want to shoot with my phone again. And it doesn't matter that the electric light at home is just terrible and it was already a deep evening. Never mind. The main moment of tenderness will remain forever.
The second day was interesting. It was also exciting, a little capricious, but there was even more laughter. Someone really wanted to try the sand, but the vigilant mother, grandparents, and the photographer were always on the alert. Although, I think, all children, without exception, taste the sand at least once. Not very tasty, but if you don't try, you won't know.
Spending time with toddlers, especially photographing them, is a kind of rest and work at the same time. It is interesting to communicate with them, it is interesting to follow them, because they are exploring the world, together with them you notice something new that you have not noticed before. The value of these moments and moments is great, as well as their significance for parents, which is especially important. After all, photographs remain forever.
Enjoy the moment, babies grow up so fast. Learn from them to know the world and see wonders around. Babies see them because they are looking for them. Stop moments, keep them, they are priceless!
